Description

This is an attempt to portray a seductive scene, yet with some kind of peaceful feel to it.
In this project, I relied on both modern and retro aesthetics.

I've added a link to a larger version.

Hi,

The hair is not 3D. It is painted in Photoshop. As for the breast, it's more a matter of taste. I guess I like her to be quite voluptuous.

Lovely image - The colours and composition are wonderfully clean. The attention to detail on the lace is superb.

Pity about the watermark on the full sized image.

Thank you very much Reeks. About the watermark thing, I'm sorry but I had a bad experience already with somebody using my artwork without permission and it really pissed me off because I usually grant permissions as long as it is for non commercial purposes. In the future, I'll post an intermediate resolution without the watermark. Is that sound good to you?

Thx. I've modeled and rendered the picture in Maya. The hair is 2D, hand painted in Photoshop.

Those breastssssssssssssssssss are PERFECT... don't change a thing... if you ever get into plastic surgery... I would like to refer a few women to you.

Thx Bluewaterkidd. And don't worry about the breast, they'll definitely not change. "I'm not bad, I'm just modeled like that..."

Superb work on painting the hair, I was wondering how you created it. Did you use fluid dynamics to create the clouds? Your work is extraordinary...:)

SBe

 04/09/03 @759

Thanks. The work on the hair is quite straightforward, basically painting as you would do with oils, using different brushes and Smear tools in Photoshop. The clouds are 2D too, painted in Photoshop, starting with differents clouds shots.

You got the feel right, very peacful. Love the colours too. However, I think you made a mistake with the left-most shadow on the sand dunes - it should either continue behind her or fade out before it gets to her. At the moment it's too much like it's in the foreground. +6/9

What software did u use for this image ?

Good work, but there is something I do not know.. between the girl and the backgroung, seems like they do not match, maybe is the lightning: seems to come from contradictory sources, is if coming from left to right (on the background) why is she shining causing the impresion that light comes from back to front? just a question...

uhmm it looks good but I don't like her boobies...looks unnatural...

Avatar AvolonPrincess

 07/05/04 @961

Ok, her hair looks pretty damn good to be 2D and painted in photoshop and put on a 3D image.

Um...when you were going for seduction and peaceful feeling...why dont you try a woman bathing in a tropical pond or something...cause this whole peice just isnt working together at all...I look at it and feel like shes a porn star walking behind a billbord for some kind of travel agency...sorry...

Ah ! Ah ! You're welcome AvalonPrincess. I guess this is not what I tried to do but your comment was fun nonetheless.
Znep: You're right about her boobs. They're silicon.
Funny how this image seems to bother ladies (especially her boobs). Sorry about that.
Let's pretend it was some kind of disguised porn picture. I guess I let my male instincts take control over the picture.
I agree with you :) But I like her anyway.

i have apsolutly no doubt that you worked hard on this picture , but i just ... don't... like it , i mean it looks like two difirent pictures becouse of the lightning missmatch and her hair (if it's not a Taft commercial ) is to stiff for the desert wind ... and knowing the boobs are going to be such a hit maybe you should have placed them on the plane as well :)
